Sightseeing in Kiruna - Snowmobile tour - Dogsledge tour - Flights and prices

Thursday : We wake up at 9:00 and begin with breakfast. We all take a walk around the camp looking for wild animals such as elks. I walk alone thinking it it will be easier to take some pictures of them in their natural environment, but unfortunately it is not my lucky day...

At 16:00, we raft back from the camp to the sledges. We remove ice from the skates and attach the dogs to the lines. Upon seeing us arrive, the dogs become impatient and want to leave immediately; they are waiting for only one thing: running! We are 3 per sled and it takes almost 2 hours to return to the tour's departure point by changing driver position every 15 minutes. The sledges are really close from each other so we have to be carreful: the dog lines can be harmful to the dogs if they get their feet stuck in it.

Back to the tour's departure point, we have to take care of the dogs: we let them free from the dog lines and put them on a trailer that the guide can bring them back home where they can have some rest. At 19:00, we are back at the youth hostel. We all are really exhausted and at 22:00, everybody is asleep!
